This project involved a struggling 100-year-old bakery and the sale of its complete factory and equipment. Despite promises to close in January, the plant continued to operate until late February. Rabin’s set-up team respectfully worked around the employees in the plant and managed to prepare the enormous facility for auction in less than three weeks! Our aggressive marketing registered buyers from all over the world, including Mexico, Macedonia, Canada, Lebanon, Bulgaria, Central America and a huge national interest in the equipment. However, the week before the auction, a prospective user approached us and we negotiated a turnkey sale to an end user, who reopened the factory and hired back most of the workers. We helped bring industry back to a town in Michigan that sorely needed it, and doubled the projected expectations of the client.
